FAQ

No problem! We can record a class for you if you give us at least a day's notice. If you have to miss class unexpectedly, we can usually provide a video of a previous class session. You can also come in to the Friday extra help session to ask questions about any class material you didn't understand.

The two workshops in the schedule are a chance to hone your skills on the GMAT. The first workshop focuses on using multiple choice answers to solve math questions more quickly. The second workshop focuses on the highest level of math, perfect for those seeking a GMAT score in the 700s.

You can continue using our study space and attend Friday extra-help for one more month after your course ends. You can also repeat our course at any time, for any reason, as many times as you need to for our reduced-rate repeat fee (currently $400). Current and former students can also take advantage of reduced rates on private tutoring.

"I know this sounds strange, but I actually really enjoyed taking Griffon Prep's GMAT class. The small class size totally changes the teaching dynamic. Another big difference was the amount of instruction time we received each week."

"Jeff Glazer and Griffon Prep are the absolute best. My GMAT score went up 150 points after two months of tutoring, and that's largely due to Jeff, a fantastic teacher in absolutely every respect -- not to mention an all-around good guy."

Our Instructors

All of our instructors have scored in the 99th percentile on the actual GMAT exam. In order to teach for Griffon Prep, they must pass a rigorous interview and audition program to demonstrate their effectiveness in teaching and coaching.

Bernadette Chimner

Bernadette used her high SAT scores to escape snowy northern Michigan for the more temperate and populated state of Virginia. She loves all standardized exams and has scored in the 99th percentile on the GRE, GMAT, and LSAT. When she's not playing logic games, she enjoys reading science fiction, swing dancing, and geocaching -- an arcane hobby that involves solving puzzles to find cleverly hidden secret containers.

Jeff Glazer

One of the company founders, Jeff surprised everyone when he forsook his dreams of becoming a professional pantomime and instead decided to dedicate his life to test preparation. Jeff's enthusiasm and energy make his classes a highly entertaining experience. Don't worry: he won't mime unless you ask him to.

Chris Yi

Chris Yi is an awesome instructor who has contributed much of Griffon Prep's curriculum. He has been teaching and tutoring since 2005 and has helped numerous students reach their goals. When he isn't teaching GRE, Chris can be found both playing and designing board games.

"The teachers use everyday examples and lighthearted humor to simplify the material, identify common themes, and teach tricks that can be used across the entire test."
