Refund and Cancellation Policy

Course Refund Policy

We understand that plans change, and we want to make your experience with Griffon Prep as flexible and fair as possible. Our course refund policy is based on when the cancellation request is made, relative to the scheduled class dates:

• More than one week before the first class: Full refund
• After that, but before the first scheduled exam: Tuition refunded minus the $50 non-refundable deposit
• After the first scheduled exam, but before the first class: 75% refund
• After the first scheduled class, but before the second: 50% refund
• After the second scheduled class, but before the third: 25% refund
• After the third scheduled class: No refund

Please note: This policy is based on the listed dates of your enrolled class and applies regardless of attendance.

Because our credit card processor does not refund fees, any approved refunds may be subject to a 5% processing fee. Be sure to use any available coupon codes at checkout—we are unable to retroactively apply discounts after purchase.

Tutoring Package Refund Policy

We know plans change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and flexible while respecting the time our instructors reserve for students.

Full Refund

You’re eligible for a full refund (minus a 3% credit card processing fee) if no tutoring hours have been used, including:

• No sessions were attended
• No appointments were canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice
• No appointments were missed due to a no-show

Partial Refund

If you've used any tutoring hours, you can still request a partial refund for any unused, eligible hours, which will be refunded at $150 per hour.

Please note:

• No-shows and appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice are not eligible for refund
• Hours that have already been used cannot be refunded

Deadline for Refund Requests

Refund requests must be:

• Emailed to: griffonprep@gmail.com
• Received within 6 months of your original purchase date

We’re unable to honor refund requests submitted after 6 months.

Expiration of Tutoring Hours

All tutoring hours must be used within 12 months of the purchase date.

Unused hours expire after one year and are no longer eligible for refund or transfer.

Transfer Policy

Tutoring hours are non-transferable and must be used by the original purchaser unless we’ve approved a transfer in writing.

Exceptions

We understand that emergencies happen. Griffon Prep may, at our discretion, make exceptions to this policy in cases of documented emergencies or other extenuating circumstances.
